Introducing the art of digital design
Launched by Oxford University Press in 1995, 'Very Short Introductions' is a series of books offering concise introductions to a diverse range of subject areas. All titles are written by experts in the field, who use a combination of facts, analysis and new ideas to provide intellectual entry points to their respective topics.
When OUP brought many of the titles online in 2013, we were asked to use our digital design expertise to help promote the series' new beginning. An extensive 18 month campaign began, ultimately giving rise to the design of a new online product icon, adverts, author pack PDF document, bookmark, branded student UCAS emails, gatefold printed brochure, title-specific posters and postcards, and a suite of website banners.
